I've met so many great people here as well. It's always a pleasant surprise when someone takes the time to write me an extensive explanation for a simple, unsolicited question I asked them. Audio people are very generous with their knowledge, and that's why when someone writes me regarding a post they might have seen, I try to take the time to be as thoughtful as those that have helped me.
As a matter of fact, one member Sherod sent me TWO vintage Sansui receivers he bought on Ebay after reading my Audiogon sob story. He never asked for anything in return. Needless to say, I owe this generous man greatly.
I'm heading out to a Los Angeles Audiogon friend's place later this afternoon to hear his new gear.
