Generally speaking when I test a twin diode (rectifier) it's either good or it isn't. Generally the failure mode is as follows: they are usually weak and measure poorly, or they pull too much current and are therefore shorted. Why not just purchase a new GZ-34/5AR4 from a reputable supplier.
