Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

This thread is an eye opener!
I've tried to keep up with reading it but have been busy with other activities.
Can some explain to me what the $300 upgrade consists of?
I've been on the website but I must be missing the answer.
Thanks in advance...
QUESTION?

Will my Allnic T-1500 300B Integrated amp be a good match for the Tekton Double Impacts?

Some information about the Integrated amp: This 300B Integrated amplifier delivers 12.5 WPC in Pure Class A single ended style! Ruggedly built weighing in at 50 pounds, this 35dB gain powerhouse will drive most speakers of 90dB + efficiency to very comfortable sound pressure levels.
Your Opinion Please

I currently use my Allnic T-1500 Integrated 300B amp (12.5 watts per channel) to drive my Montana EPX speakers with no issues or problems at all. I'm happy with the sound. Here are the specifications on my Montana EPX speakers: http://thesoundstation.com/pages/montana_epx

Having never heard the Tekton Double Impacts, I'm wondering would I gain anything by switching speakers or would I just be spending additional money? I'm located in Perrysburg, Ohio.
grannyring, charles1dad, and sbayne as always thank you for your assistance.
I totally agree one must hear the speakers for themself to make a judgement call.
Personally, I appreciate reading the thoughts that others have when I know they have well-trained ears for music and present their thoughts in an open-ended manner. We are all individuals that have different tasts in types of music and what we hear within that room.
Thank you grannyring for posting your thoughts, comparisons, and examples of the Tekton Double Impact speakers, and to many other individuals that also contribute to our education.
@teajay,
Nice review, I enjoyed reading both the Double Impact and the Ulfberht.
WOW!
Those of you that know me know that I'm very open-minded to an indivudals thought.
There is no right and wrong, only what sounds good to each individual's preferences...
That's the way life seems to work. Thank goodness we don't all have the same likes and dislikes!
@ozzy, I'm an hour away, feel free to contact me should you need assistance in moving any equipment.
@audioarchon, I look forward to hearing your opinions on the Double Impact Special Edition (SE) as they break in at your store. Hopefully, you are able to keep the speaker for others to experience.
