Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

@brotw

I too use Dirac Live room correction, but I can not play DSD files with the Dirac Processor running.  Have you experienced anything like this?  Run JRiver directly to my dac and the DSD files will play in their native resolution, but not so with Dirac in the loop.
@evolvist

 Bullitt's inbox must be full.  I asked him if I could come by to listen too!  I think he said his DAC came already and he was burning it in.  I also remember him saying his DIs were going back in favor of DI Special Editions, so if your going to hear his DIs again, you better hurry.
@ Eric

Any pro reviews of the Enzo 2.7s in the works?   Of course, I'll be listening to my new pair before such reviews will be published.  Maybe I'll write one!
Since you brought up a warmed cast iron pan with melting butter....

Add sugar and cinnamon, banana liqueur, bananas, rum. Flambe'

Serve the banana pieces with scoops of ice-cream and the warm sauce.

A Brennan's of New Orleans original!
Please Stop!  :)
Can someone explain how the tweeter configuration in Tekton speakers works?  When I put my ear close to each tweeter it's hard to tell whether or not there is sound emanating from that particular driver as they are so close to the other tweeters.  It seems that if one of those tweeters (or an associated crossover component) fails, it might not be obvious.  Or, is it like the old Christmas tree lights where if one failed they all went dark?  When a driver in a conventional speaker fails it is obvious because such a large portion of the sound spectrum is lost. Not so with Tektons.  Please explain.  Thanks.
What tweeters are used in the Double Impact SE?  I wish my Enzo 2.7s had better tweeters.  If the tweeters were more transparent, more airy, these things would be damn near perfect.  Why doesn't Tekton offer an SE version of their other models?
Are there Axpona type events held in Dallas, Austin, Houston or New Orleans?  I would love to attend one of these if it was closer to home.
Has anyone ever posted as to the drivers used in the Double Impact SEs?  I ask because I own a pair of Enzo 2.7s and have always wanted better resolution and transparency in the treble.  Seems to me there's no reason why the upgraded tweeter used in the DI-SE could not be employed in the Enzo 2.7.  Am I correct?
