Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

I can't believe that all you Tekton owners would let one persons opinion up set you so much.
Don't worry be happy.

Check the postings Mike Wright  has done a direct comparison.
The DI'S where the ones Terry reviewed.I was there, it was not close.
I believe there are two kinds of audiophiles:those who use components to listen to music, and those who use music to listen to components.

ALLEN THE VOLUME KING.
Checking out the new Tekton  Se with Teajay
guys they are worth the wait. The are fantastic.
We are  at Ezra's house I only have the standard Di's.
I will leave the comments to teajay.

I completely agree with your position on the DI'S and compressed music.
The wilson line off speakers have made a fortune catering to this weakness.
I recently upgraded my system to a T+ A PA 3000 HV and the Aurender A10.
I'm not a low tube watt guy every up grade will return big dividends with the DI'S.
I heard the Tekton SE'S again tonight at Ezra's they  have really improved from Day one.
Guys if you can afford them I say go for it, they are definitely a step up,the bass is outstanding.
Ezra's system is way north of $150,000 not counting the speakers so keep that in mind.
In the history of audio audiophiles have always found ways to modify great low price gear
to fit there personal taste. Magnepan ,Hafler to name a few.I am very happy with my standard
Di's optioning to upgrade gear upstream, but the beat goes on.
The Stereo Times review of the Tekton double impact has been
posted it is the best loudspeaker review I have ever seen.
Thank you, everyone on audiogon that viewed my listing I had 4,328 views in 12 days.
I now have my SE'S bandw2017ag has a very good pair of DIs and Ezra has his Ulfberhts
on order,Life is good everybody is happy.
Iaaudionut I totally agree with your assessment of the SEs I could not have said it better.
All I know is this from Ezra is that he's getting a special edition pair of  Elf's that cost get
this $25,000 dollars.

Thanks for your interest both of my systems are posted in Virtual systems.
My take on the ULF/ULF BE’S. I Have heard both Teajay’s and Ezar’s systems, to my ears the Ulf Be’s are better in every important category. Guys I hate to say this but if you can’t afford to move up this high just keep your Se’s. The Ulf’s are very good but they are a minor step up this is Major and can truly compete with the very best out there. I can’t speak for Mike Wright but he totally agrees with me.
