TECHNICS Turntable SL 1350 spindle question

I just bought this turntable and it only has the Changer spindle.

My question is...

I want to replace this spindle with a single play spindle so I will be able to operate it without the changer feature.

I am assuming that replacing the changer spindle for a single play  will enable me to use this turntable for single play ONLY , which  I prefer.

Do you have any suggestions on what else I can use to  play a single record   ?

If not, Where can I locate a single play spindle ?
