I'm sure there are repair shops in Chicago but would prefer to send it to someone who specializes in turntables and specifically with Technics turntables, especially when considering upgrades. I am familiar with your website but didn't know if you handled anything other than the 1200's. I will review of he process for sending equipment on your website but let me know if there is anything else I should know before shipping. I have the original box and packing material but will also double box to be safe. Thanks for your response!
