99% of those Technics cartridges have serious problem with suspension, headshell integrated models like 205c mk4 or 100c mk3 is what i’ve been using, i bought many samples, suspension is always softened.
They can be used with whatever tonearm, because headshell integrated models can be adjusted (azimuth and overhang). The problem is suspension/damper.
If you want a better cartridge than Technics top models simply look for Grace LEVEL II BR/MR, it has similar Boron Pipe cantilever, but the stylus tip is Micro Ridge (the best profile). Technics never used advanced profiles, all you can get from Technics is Elliptical tip. Another better cartridge that Technics top models is Audio-Technica AT-ML180.
Buy yourself Dr.Feickert protractor to adjust/align any cartridge on any tonearm. Pivot to Spindle distance stated in the manual for any tonearm. Sometime you have to deduct overhang distance to figure out actual PS distance.
On Technics headshell integrated MM cartridges the rules is just on the side of the cartridge body, you can adjust it back and forth.
