Tannony XT6 vs B&W CM1

I'm in the market for a pair of bookshelf speakers under 1200. I auditioned the two speakers at different shops and liked them both. Without the opportunity to AB them, I'd like to know if anyone owns or knows either of them, or can offer another choice in the price range.
I have a re-tubed Audio Research D-51 amp and Audible Illusions Modulus pre-amp. Pro-Ject Xpressions turntable with a Sumiko Pearl cartridge. Also an Oppo BDP-95 Blue Ray. I'm replacing a pair of Rogers LS2a's.
