Synergistic reference cables with Rogue Mono block

Has anyone ever tried Synergistic Research Reference Master Couplers on Rogue Audio 150 Mono Blocks or a amp like them and how were the results sound wise? I have been told that they might be too detailed on some amps. I have seen mixed reviews most in favor. I was told if you unplug the active shielding it gets a little warmer. What do you think?
