Synergistic New Tesla Line...Any comments?

I just bought Synergistic Research's new Tesla Accelerator speaker cables and Tesla Vortec interconnects from The Cable Company. I have tried many demo cables from The Cable Company over the past year. These were the first to give me that WOW factor I been looking for so long.

Does anyone have these cables and can you please post your impressions and comments? Thanks.

Hello all!!!!

Has anyone heard of a new "high-end" power cord from S.R?????

REGARDS Bacardi
I heard its based on the Powercell technologies. You said it though, very high price tag. Maybe 5 digits?????

Regards Bacardi
One question for all... Has anyone tried the Tesla Tricon Active Component cords??????

Regards BACARDI
Joeyboynj, no not yet. Mike at Tweek Geek is lending me one in a week. I will let you know thereafter...thx

I need to know if I can wire a Teslaplex which is 20 amps into a 15 amp circuit. The house I'm in is old and still has a fuse panel,I know(LOL). Any help......

REGARDS Bacardi
Anybody experience a Tesla D1/2/3 on there CDP?? I'm auditioning a Hologram D and D3 for my CDP. Anxious to here how 5.1 movies will sound with the two cords ....
Adwiegert, I had talked to a Mike at S.R and he said he was working on the site when I had called.....lol

Regards Bacardi
I have wired my whole Paradigm Signature S1's,C1,ADP1's(all piano black) with Tesla Accelerator(bi-wire) and Accelerator RCA's linking Amp to PRE. I have a S.R X2 Quattro releasing 12 splits to the active shielding.
T2 - DVD Sony 777ES(later replace with Blue Ray player)
T2 - Quattro
T2 - Pre Processor(Onkyo Pro 885SC)
T3 - Parasound 2205A power amp(220 x 5)
Precision Reference AC - PS Audio Quintescence(soon to be replaced with a S.R QLS 9 Tesla Power Strip).
S.R Active Resolution Reference X2 Digital Coax(DVD)
AC Master Coupler Active to my SVS PB13 Ultra(piano black) linked with an Active Alpha Sterling Phase 2 RCA(both soon to be replaced with a Precision AC power cord and a Tesla Resolution Reference rca). I must comment on the Precision AC on my Quintescence for the reason of the dynamic imaging and resolution it brought out in my whole system. This cord is the real deal and has made the most impact to my listening experience. I am still playing music and especially for movies it can be really noticed. It isn't a minimal difference either. I can't wait to try it on my sub. It was suggested to me to try the Hologram D on my DVD, I might down the road. In conclusion I raise my thumbs to S.R for another great line of cords....AAA+++

In response to Joeyboynj: I just purchased a QLS 9 and the price was $399.00 and it comes with a detachable cord because Steve at cables suggested I put my new Precision AC on it. The QLS 6 is $299.00. Not sure about the outlet. Do you know if it has quantum tunneling??????

Regards BACARDI
In response to Joeyboynj:

When I recieve my QLS 9 I will send pics to ya. I am eager to try it especially with my Tesla Precision AC power cord. How do you like your Tesla Vortex with your Accelerator speaker wire???? I have heard Tesla Accelerator sound good all-around...Let me know....

Regards BACARDI
Anybody audition or hear the S.R Tesla Plex duplex outlet. I am very concerned with any advantages it might be to a full Tesla set-up (eg.power cords, interconnects, Quattro, QLS 9 to wall). Any info will be of help..THX

REGARDS Bacardi
Thanks for the Tesla Plex info all and Joeyboynj for the review and pics. I am going to order two of them to audition. ONE OTHER QUESTION. Are the QLS 6 & QLS 9 made the same accept for the number of outlets. I might order 2 QLS 6's and return my QLS 9 to get 3 more outlets and a better even, equal spread in the room. I run a full home theater system and need the left & right spread. I am just waiting for my Sistrum SP-1 for underneath my SVS PB-13 Ultra(piano black) to define and resolve my bass issues. THX again all....

REGARDS Bacardi

Thanks joeyboynj for the info. One question. I noticed you have the Dark Field Shunyata cable elevators. Can you notice any difference with them under your cords???? I have an interest in them....Cableco has a sale on them till month end....Please let me know your specs....THX

REGARDS Bacardi
THX Ted. I think this should be addressed to joeyboynj too cuz I asked him in a thread about the Shunyata's and he has them, and he stated they worked well for him.....I will look for wooden elevators to try out....THX again

REGARDS Bacardi
Actually Tbg. I will let you know how my custom made Hifi Pyon NDCL01 Beech wood cable elevators sound when I get them. I had them raised 4" and a bigger profile to hold all my Tesla cords. It will be the proof for all Active S.R cords. I hope they work..LOL

REGARDS Bacardi
Thx Tbg. I have hooked up the Teslaplex outlet and its like someone hit a loudness button on my system with added dynamics. I am more of a movie buff and noticed better clarity in the movies, more volume, bass extension, and the utmost cleanest soundstage. I don't have one connected to my subs power & rca cords on other side of the room, though I might order one to feed them. Definitely a must for a full system set-up. A+++ Ted........

REGARDS Bacardi
I actually spoke with Ryan/Elliot about the plate and the suggestion was to just use the regular plastic plate....Mainly, It'll do the job.....If there are other alternatives for better quality, I'm all ears...

REGARDS Bacardi

Actually Rydenfan, the Oyaide WCP-Z actually I might try(Recommended by other Audiogoners), a little pricey, but might audition one. In regards to the Teslaplex's, I am running my SVS PB-13Ultra(piano black) on a seperate wall outlet and I was wondering if a Teslaplex would make a difference with LFE.......Anyone???

REGARDS Bacardi
I just wired in another Teslaplex in my system this one for my SVS PB13 Ultra subwoofer. All I can say is "HOLY". The bass after a week substantially ignited into my chest. For movies it is extremely defined, tighter & much louder but also precise to the material. For music it also was louder & defined. The both Teslaplex's in a way seemed to make my whole system more efficient & exceed the soundstage it had before. I am very happy with the Teslaplex again and suggest others to try on they're sub also..You won't believe your ears!!! Well recommended......

REGARDS Bacardi
Thx Fplanner2000. Do you get better quality through XLR for a subwoofer??

Regards BACARDI
Anyone hear anything on the new "Transporter" to replace the Quattro??????

Regards Bacardi
Question for interconnect signal direction between power amp and pre amp. Tesla accelerator active mpc LED end plugs into amp or pre amp??? Help.....

REGARDS Bacardi
Question on interconnect LED direction for subwoofer. Should it be on pre-amp end or sub end???? Also: Best Power cord/Interconnect combination for sub. Help & Thx

REGARDS Bacardi
Thx Tbg. Any suggestion on S.R RCA & Power cord. I have a Phase II RCA active and a Subwoofer AC Master Coupler Active. I do want an upgrade. Thx.

Regards BACARDI
I Just replaced my 1M Tesla Accelerator interconnects between my amp & pre and jumped to the Precision Reference. All I can say from a few hours is "WOW". I will listen more & conclude the rest of the story as time goes on......

REGARDS Bacardi
I have everything(accept my sub stuff) plugged into my QLS 9 and a Precision Reference power cord from it to a Teslaplex(wall) . One word "Amazing". Ya can't get better than that.......I believe Joeyboynj, that it doesn't do much more than you mentioned, but for what it does do with a good power cord link to wall, is something everybody should have....
Anybody not able to use a Hologram A on there power amp? I was told that my Parasound HCA-2205A amp of 220x5 was too much power and the Hologram A was limitting(too much power). I was getting feedback from speakers and the sound seemed congested. I have moved it to my Pre amp. I am therefore using a Precision Reference on my Parasound now. Any Help!!!!

Regards BACARDI
Actually, I addressed Eliott at S. R and he noted the problem to me. It might be just an incompatability issue with my components. Maybe I will let it settle in longer & hopefully notice a difference.....Should it be plugged directly into the wall Teslaplex instead of the QLS 9???? Anybody!!!

Regards BACARDI
Thx all. Tbg. I don't have a powercell yet, but I will try the Hologram A plugged straight into a wall Teslaplex. If I get same results I will keep the Precision AC on the power amp and put the Hologram A on the pre amp.

Regards BACARDI
Here's the rundown, I had the following:
QLS- T3 to wall Teslaplex
Sub - Precision to wall Teslaplex
Amp- Hologram A to QLS
Pre - Precision Reference to QLS

Results were limitting of sound, warmer tone, good detail high & low. Changes made:

QLS- Precision to wall Teslaplex
Sub - T3 to Teslaplex
Amp- Hologram A to wall Teslaplex
Pre. - Precision to QLS

Results were greater detail, dynamics, frequency extension, bigger soundstage, smoother bass and overall warmer sound.

I find that the more Precision AC in my system the dynamics and resolution became immense. There was still something missing when I added the Hologram A to my system. Somehow a much much warmer and sound I am not used to hearing.. System dependant that's for sure. Maybe I will add a Hologram D to the DVD and hope for the best.

Regards BACARDI
THX Joeyboynj for your help. I will consider your suggestion...Would the Powercell 6 be enough or would the 10SE be better. Actually, what are the differences in the 6,10,10SE???

Regards BACARDI
Proceeding my audition of the Hologram A on my amp and Precision AC on my pre I have noticed the Hologram A took a longer time to settle in and I think I will trial a Hologram D as suggested by many on my CDP and see how that sounds. The Precision works great on a QLS6,9. The Hologram A is an excellent cord, dynamic, 3 dimensional soundfield for movies had a "WOW" factor, but the foundation is the Hologram D....I may purchase a Hologram A after I trial a "D". THX

REGARDS Bacardi
Autentic, When I auditioned my Hologram A they sent me another Precision AC. I tried it on my pre and it worked well, better than my T2 I had on it previous......extremely detailed....

REGARDS Bacardi
Joeyboynj, actually when I auditioned the Hologram A and Precision AC it took a long time to settle in and notice the differences. Then after I was starting to notice on music but also with movies the ultra detail of the Precision to the 3 dimensionality and soundstaging of the Hologram A. When I took them both out I noticed a little of what was missing. I then noticed the calibre of my system up to this point. I will audition a Hologram D and a D2 or D3 interconnect for my DVD/CDP to Pre. I will then be able to see what the difference of what the Hologram D can do for my system. Then go back to the Hologram A to amp and pre. I will reply back with the results....THX

REGARDS Bacardi
Tbg or anyone. Just received my Hologram D and D3. Do I plug the Hologram D in my QLS 9 or straight into the wall Teslaplex?????

Regards BACARDI
Adwiegert, I previously owned a PS Audio Quintescence which was restricting quality. I really like the QLS 9 but would prefer two QLS 6's, one on either side of the plasma. Makes it easier to connect components & say a second subwoofer. I have a Tesla Precision AC on it now which replaced the T2. The Precision just kills the T2 with greater dynamics, speed & 3 dimensional soundstage. My last purchase will be a Powercell 10SE. I am now auditioning a Hologram D and a D3 digital RCA, it'll be a few weeks for the burn in and to settle in to make any conclusions on how they will perform.

Regards Bacardi
Splaskin, I have a QLS 9. In regards to your change, I have a Precision AC on my QLS, T2 on pre, T3 on my Power Amp, T2 on my Quattro, Hologram D on my CDP, If I tried your set-up, what would you use on the QLS??

REGARDS Bacardi
Splaskin, one thing I've noticed is if I put the T3 on my QLS9 and Precision on my power amp I lose the side soundstage. I have heard that the T3 works better than the T2 on Pre but not sure about the QLS. Precision definitly beats the T2 on the QLS9 but till I get a Powercell 10SE my power cords plug directly into the QLS9 along with 3 MPC's. I would like to split them to two QLS 6's, analogue in one & digital in other. And down the road the MPC's can split better on each side of the room for my home theater use. I will be running another SVS PB13Ultra(piano black) sub behind the sitting area for movies along with the SVS AS-EQ1 subwoofer Equilyzer...you might even hear/feel the bass from where you live---LOL....

Regards Bacardi
Splaskin, All I've tried I liked. The only one I haven't is the T3UHC...You?

Regards Bacardi
Splaskin, My system consists of 65/35 home theater so I've only gone as far as Accelerator biwire for all 5 channels, Precision RCA from amp to pre. Apex all around would cost a fortune. I will put that money I would spend for "total Apex" and get a Powercell 10SE in the end. Keep all I have for now. I am waiting for a replacement for the Quattro, and maybe no need for the QLS's: the "Transporter" . Maybe it has Tesla qualities- quantum tunneling..etc..

For now sell my QLS9 for two QLS6's...

Regards Bacardi
I heard last fall from S.R that they where coming out with a "Transporter". An upgrade to the Quattro. Maybe Tesla model......Supposed to be released this summer/fall.....

Regards Bacardi
On another note, as I am changing around my Tesla power cords, I now have a Subwoofer AC Master Coupler power cord on my SVS PB13 Ultra sub. In the Tesla line, has anyone tried any different power cords on there subwoofer???? Say a T2 / T3 / Precision AC / Tesla Reference...

Regards Bacardi
Joeyboynj, How did you make out with your T3UHC??? Did it work better than the T3 on your Quattro???

Also, you mentioned to try a T3 on my sub. I noticed S.R has a T1 Subwoofer cord,T2 subwoofer, Tesla Subwoofer Reference. Are they similar or same as a regular T1,T2,T3.???

Regards Bacardi
Ozzy, I agree with you on your points. It has been several years now and they have new stuff like the Acoustic Art with pics and great descriptions just releasing without finishing old stuff like T3 UHC(isn't even on site), pics of cords and even reviews(very important to new customers and anxious buyers). Get moovin S.R....."Get er done!!!!!!!!"

Regards BACARDI
Would upgrading a pair of S.R Alpha Sterling(quantum tunneled) X2 Tesla series interconnects to used Tesla Precision Reference interconnects be worth the performance for the price??

REGARDS BACARDI
Tbg, So you think in a full 5-7 channel home theater setup from amp to pre to go with Accelerators. I have Accelerator biwire for all my 5 speakers. I would think the 5 channel Precision Reference interconnects from amp to pre would accent the Accelerator speaker wire. Don't you? Or do you think it's overkill?

Regards Bacardi
I was told from S.R that the QLS 6 & 9 & the Quattro give the same level of performance to the mpc's active sheilding. ALSO: I've heard the price of the Transporter is very high compared to the Quattro..Around 4-5g's..

Regards Bacardi
Tbg. The Quattro is just a power supply for up to 12(3x4) leads to actively shield your cords. The QLS 6/9 is just a quantum tunneled power strip made up of Teslaplex outlets. No surge protection, conditioning of any sort. You can put any power cord on it like the QLS's. I have a Precision AC on my QLS and it sounds amazing. I have a T2 on my Quattro which I might change to a T3.

Regards Bacardi
Hasse, I'm not sure if the Transporter is an upgraded Quattro. If anything it might have quantum tunneling and may have Powercell internal qualities..

Regards Bacardi
