Synergistic New Tesla Line...Any comments?

I just bought Synergistic Research's new Tesla Accelerator speaker cables and Tesla Vortec interconnects from The Cable Company. I have tried many demo cables from The Cable Company over the past year. These were the first to give me that WOW factor I been looking for so long.

Does anyone have these cables and can you please post your impressions and comments? Thanks.

"Has anyone plugged a subwoofer into a Powercell??? If so, what results were noticed???"

Yup. Tighter bass and the sub seems to disappear more.
Ozzy, I was wondering the same thing a few days ago how someone would raise their Powercell in order to connect their MPC's.

I ended up buying a QLS 9 with a T2 (like Ted suggested) connected to my Powercell SE and it works well with all my MPC's. The QLS 9 is anchored on the wall. Although now I'm starting to run out of outlets on my QLS9. Another QLS9 & T2 in my foreseeable future...
Someone asked about the Powercell SE's dimensions. I took the measurements and here's what I came up with:

- 451mm (17.75") width
- 362mm (14.25") depth
- 140mm (5.5") height
Someone mentioned from a previous post not to mix digital and analog signals. I have MPC's powering ic's and sc's with no problems. But my D3 is a lone ranger with a single lead MPC.
Tbg, you're right. Mixing power and signal or digital and analog on the same MPC's are definite no-no's. Btw, what sonic difference did you hear when you upgraded to Galileo MPC on your D3?
"Is it OK to have two power cords on a single MPC?"

I have a single MPC powering (2) T2 power cords with no sound degradation. But they are on the analog side. T2 on preamp & T2 on QLS-9.

I'm interested on what others have to say if the dual leads will work on a Hologram D combination (e.g., Hologram D & preamp/power amp pc).

I have a fire ext. in my kitchen just in case.
I got my first set of MiG's yesterday and installed them under my CDP in the ambient position. My system did sound better but it seemed like some of the "live" attributes went away. I like listening to concert DVD's in 5.1 (Fleetwood Mac, The Dance is a good one). It's almost as if someone dimmed the lights in my living room and everyone started drinking wine during a concert.

Today I switched them to the pin-point position and all is good. My system is back in the "live" mode but with a bigger soundstage, sweeter highs, tighter bass, and better imaging. I can now drink beer again during a concert.
I don't think there's a weight limitation on the MiGs. If there was one it would be well documented. Last time I checked the manual that came with the MiGs did not have a weight limitation clause.

But I would implement common sense on their placement. Make sure that they are placed in a triangular configuration with proper balance.

Maybe Ted might want to include some kind of weight disclaimer for liability purposes but that's up to him.
It seems like you already tried it Tbg. Ozzy's amp weighs 150 and you weigh 190.

Yep the concern is what's under the MiGs and the way they are positioned under a component. The manual says to place the MiGs under the HEAVIEST section of your component.

The MiGs are like arches on a bridge and are capable of supporting heavy loads.
Hi all,

Is it better to plug in a Galileo MPC to a QLS-9 or directly to the powercell SE?

Right now I have the Galileo (dual leads) plugged into a QLS-9. The two Galileo MPC leads are powering the powercell and precision ref cord. The QLS-9 has a T2 power cord and it's plugged into the powercell se.

I'm just wondering if there will be a major improvement if I moved the Galileo MPC directly into the SE.
Got 3 more sets of MiG's today. Ambient is not for me. Pin-point configuration all the way. Under cdp, preamp, amp, and powercell se on 1/4" thick glass shelves.
Scottmac,

The ambient setting was a more relaxed sound with less harshness. But the music sounded somewhat fake. I had a hard time localizing the instruments and singers.

Pin-point on the other hand had a more organic sound. More precise imaging of instruments and a more "you are there" soundstage.

I tried different combinations ambient vs. pinpoint but my ears lean towards pin-point for all components.
"...one thing that interested me was that some people on this thread spend more on SR cabling and power products than on their speakers."

My powercell SE cost more than my left AND right speakers.
Try the SR D3 digital Bacardi. I have a 5.1 setup and the the D3 works well in stereo and home theater stuff.
