Nothing of consequence is likely to come out of this endeavor and both will leave the fray claiming victory. Although Ted will benefit if Gene doesnt take the bait.

I like the cage match suggestion.  

Its not about being on one side or the other. A case in which a person builds a business and then another "expert" attacks the very foundation of this business. One created and built and the other sits back and criticizes without merit. I can tell you which of the two is more deserving of respect. I should add I am no fan of Ted and I think many of his claims dubious and most of his gear overpriced. 

But by acknowledging the stupid parents role in the death of their children is a step in the right direction.

Perhaps you can come up with some test for intelligence that is universally acknowledged as fair, accurate and without cultural bias. Of course we will know it is a viable test when it confirms that you are a genius. 

As nonoise points out just listen. If you are not willing to listen and compare you have nothing to add or to say. Arguing from a total lack of experience is completely unscientific. 

And the best way to save children from their stupid parents will be a dismantling of the traditional family unit! All for the sake of such a small number of victims whose parents were born that way (stupid) so the fault isnt really with them but with the system. Right?
