Hi your jpw are very nice and probably would go well with any mid to high end manufacturers. Paradigm has nice dipole and center that use similar tech and the vifa. Cc-300 and ADP-120,ps-1200 and a pair of JPW ap1 for side in a 7.1 set up. All can be had used in good nick.. Good luck
Surrounds and Center to Match JPW AP3 FR&L
I have a pair of JPW AP3 bookshelf speakers. They are 21 yrs old, but I had them refurbished and they sound very nice. They have Danish Drivers from Vifa and the following approx specs:
Power Handling (RMS): 120 Watts RMS
Frequency Response: 40hz-20khz
Sensitivity (dB): 88 dB
Impedance (Ohms): 8 Ohms
Weight (lbs): 30 lbs.
Dimensions (w/h/d): 10/20/28 in. (width/height/depth)
I want to use them with my HarmanKardon AVR 146, which is rated at 30 watts x 5.1. I have tried them and they sound good, but they do not match my other surround and center speakers which are much smaller and cheaper Yamahas that came with a "HT in a box" system.
My question is, can anyone suggest a center and left/right surround speakers that would match well with the JPWs?
Thanks, Keith
