I used one for a while (now using a Resolution 55 w/ built-in preamp). It's a bit (just a bit) on the warm/rolled off side of things and slightly dark but very musical and pleasant to listen to--makes music sound good. If your system leans toward the bright side and you want to soften things up and add some richness, this piece is a very good buy.
