Sumiko "The PhonoAmp"
Hi2all!
I bought this phono stage (used) a few years back to go with my VPI HW-19 Jr (w/MK III platter) & a Syrinx PU-2 tonearm. This wooden-encased phono stage was designed by a "Mark V. Scardina."
It sounds wonderful (although I cannot say I got a chance to do any A/B testing) and I absolutely love the fact that I can bypass my preamp with a flip of a switch, sending the phonoAmp's signal directly to the Amp :D
Just wondered however if anyone else has one (or has ever seen/ heard one) as I never see any info about it on the 'net....
