My very best friend of over 60 years has Heresy I’s he bought shortly after they were released. They still sound as great as they did on day one.
Anyway, he’s had a Velodyne 12” powered sub running along side for many years. It sounds terric and has been trouble free. Very affordable too.
Subwoofer for Klipsch Heresy
Secondary system in my home, actually in my MBR sitting area - Eversolo A6, Prima Luna Evo 300 Integrated, Klipsch Heresy I (~1981). Also have a Sony TC-WR99ES and Magnum Dynalab MD108. So, the system has a vintage vibe. Wife and I really enjoy it as is. But I think it could benefit from a subwoofer. I don’t need overkill, and I don’t want to crowd out the tube-driven classic Klipsch sound. Any recs for a sub that would play nicely in this system?
Main music choices are true classic rock (67-77), folk, classical (strings), more modern female vocalists… Thanks for your thoughts!
