subwoofer amp with crossover/phase control

looking to power my Edgar Subwoofer, like to know if any members know which amp has built in crossover for subwoofer control. It has to have a phase control. Please advise?

Let say if my plate amp has only two options, 0 or 180. What setting do you recommend? Also, do you recommend plate amp or stand alone amp for the sub. please advise?
