Stuart Chapman Jones RIP

I am late with this news, so if it was previously posted, I missed it. I just learned today from his lovely wife, Eve, that Stuart Chapman Jones of Chapman Audio passed away in June 2023.
I have the enormous pleasure of owning the speakers he designed in conjunction with Douglas Schroeder. Those T-77S became the prototype for the Chapman T9. I purchased them from Douglas and later sent them back to Stuart with a no time and generous budget for him to do as he pleased. He personally delivered to my home what he labeled his T9 reference. How good are they? It’s taking me nearly 4 years of back-and-forth to decide that the Vandersteen model 7’s will stay, and I will gift the Chapmans to a friend who is listening to 40-year-old Vandersteen model 2’s.
