In which direction do the arrows point toward on a pair of straight wire serenade interconnects - arrows toward cd player from pre amp or arrows toward pre amp from cd player?

Arrows pointing in the direction of signal flow so in this case, pointing toward the pre.

Personal opinion: Try it both ways. You never know and you won't hurt anything. Good luck.
