Static from silver cables
Hi,
I was wondering if someone can help me with two peculiar problems I have regarding interconnects between my pre and power amps.
1. I made silver RCA interconnects using 30awg wire and I like their sound. However, when using the silver interconnects I hear a static in the left channel (if I swap the silver interconnects left to right the static remains on the left). The static goes away if I change to regular interconnects.
2. I also recently bought a pair of balanced XLR cables but when I turn the power off on my power amp, I get quite a loud popping sound from the left channel. Just can't get it to go away
Please help!
Thanks a lot
