SSP-600 - Linear Power Supply

Can anyone confirm whether the separate linear supply in the SSP-600 drives the main L/R balanced outputs at ALL times (both in bypass mode and when under regular processing duty)?  I'm going to float the same question to Classe, but they're out till Tuesday of next week due to Easter weekend.
