it can indefinitely if your owner/parent is a big fish in an all out survival battle for aggregate control of eyeballs across devices, apps and formats, and sees your streaming service as just one arrow in the quiver...

Apparently Tidal is losing money, as are many of the streaming services.  Can this go on for very much longer?
