Those Lawrence speakers look amazing. Yes, I like musical speakers, but they also need to be engaging and detailed. So basically I want everything. My only worry with the Treo's is that the lower Vandy's I've heard are a bit laid back for my taste. I'm hoping the treos add some detail and engagement to the experience. I do love ribbons/amt tweeters when well implemented hence my interest also in Goldenear and Aurum Cantus.
I should add that the main part of the listening room is about 11x12 with 3 walls. The open wall is behind me in the listening position and opens up to a foyer area, so another 9-10ft straight back until a wall.
