I don't think your speaker is designed to be used that way. It sounds like you need to add a sub.
Speaker stands with long legs and broad tops??
I use my two-piece Shahinian Hawks as seperately placed modules, like woofers and satellites. This is because the bass does better closer to the front wall while the treble is best out into the room.
The problem is finding the proper stands for the treble modules. The height needs to be 31" and I am not having much luck finding appropriate stands with top platforms much larger than about 8"x8". The Hawks tops are about 20" x 14" and are unstable with so little support.
Anyone know of good, solid, maybe lead fillable stands which are not of bank-breaking cost.
