I'm experiencing a loss of highs. I want to make sure there's nothing amiss with stock crossover parts at this stage. 

You might try Rainbow Electronics they are on Madison ave. Not sure if they do speaker work, but they do a lot of stereo repairs. good luck

I ended up taking them to Neal's speaker repair in Weimar. 

Harry’s Dyna Tech Electronics at 2525 Fulton Ave. in Sacto. repairs speakers and electronics. They have done three repairs for me with good results. Harry works in tube electronics also.
