Spatial Audio Triode Master Upgrade -- any impressions?

Happy holidays,
I have loved my Spatial Audio M4 Turbo S speakers, the most enjoyable speakers I have ever had in my system.  My pal with the same speakers had his upgraded to the Triode Masters and is really keen to have had it done. I sent mine back to Clayton last week, and in the meantime would be interested to hear from others who have had the upgrade done to their speakers.  Clayton told me that he has performed the upgrade to nearly 80 pairs to date.  Cheers, Mark aka Whitestix

I drooled over the M3 Triode Masters for a long time.  Then they introduced the X2s.  I decided I deserved the X2s and ordered a pair.  They should arrive in a couple weeks.

Or more to the point:  I wondered, if I bought the M3s, whether I would regret not getting the X2s.  Would I have buyer's remorse?  I didn't want to find out.

Yup, twice the price, but I figured that I'm worth it.
Sir,
Your Pavlovian response to the M3 TM is not surprising, nor your desire to jump up the food chain to the X2's.   I have no doubt the X2's are a significant upgrade from the M3's, no question.  My take is that the SA speakers thrive with a powerful amplifier, but sound quite fine with modest tube amps.  Please start a thread with your impressions of your new speakers.  Be forewarned that your speakers will take a long time to break in.  At 100 hours they settle in, are better sounding with 250 hours, and hit their stride with 1000 hours.  Cheers!
The X2s are wonderful.  Over 200 hours on them, and they are the easiest speakers to listen to I have ever experienced.  You just never get tired of listening.  Deep, tight bass, instruments and voices feel like they're in the room.  No buyer's remorse, at all.
