I use Dexibel X pro, and like it. But note that with Android, unlike Apple products, different manufacturers have different microphone sensitivities. So this means that the sound level meter apps need to be calibrated to be accurate. I do this with an inexpensive sound level meter...but maybe you should just get a sound level meter. The . BAFX Products SPL Meter gets good reviews for accuracy for a lower cost unit. Or consider a Dayton Audio IMM-6 calibrated mic to plug into your phone for use with a SLM app. Good luck!
