It's hard to knock the "ES" series.

Anybody currently using this? Bought this unit used for a song...and granted...I was skeptical about a built-in phono...especially on an HT receiver...but low and behold...this phono is quite good...on par with preamps I have owned...smooth, warm sound typical of sony es products...bass a touch overly ripe...midrange nice and 3-d...top end a bit soft...but im nitpicking a very good product
