Sony SCD1 777ES do they play cdr/w s??

The 777ES does play CDR. I haven't tried the CDRW.

This player not only plays CDR's, it also reads the Table of
Contents! If you are burning CDR's on a computer such as a
Sony Digital Studio, it will write TOC to the disc which is readable by the Sony 777ES! A nifty feature and the reason why it won't leave my system. Also, it's a great DAC. Why use it as a transport only?
