I also forgot to mention that just because the TV offers component inputs doesn't mean it will be able to read a progressive scan rate. IMO, the only reason to bother with component video cables is because the DVD player you use outputs a progressive scan rate.Otherwise, use a good s-video cable or buy a TV that can handle the progressive scan rate.
Sony PVM 3230 TV- question about RGB inputs
I have Sony PVM 3230 TV (11 yrs old) which has many inputs (analog RGB, digital RGB,S video, etc). Does anyone know if the analog RGB inputs (BNC type connectors) can be used with current component outputs on my new DVD player, if I buy BNC to RCA adaptors?
