Nglazer: Thanks. As I noted above, I found the answer: Go to the Apple menu, System Preferences, General and you can select Scroll bar options. I selected "Always”. The scroll bars immediately returned to iTunes and they make looking for albums much easier. Please note that changing this option also applies to other applications.
Solution for Scroll Bar is missing from iTunes 11
I just received my new MAC Book Pro (music server) and in the process of ripping my CD’s to my external hard drive. After loading several CD’s, I quickly discovered that I could not easily find my albums since the scroll bars were missing from the screen.
I searched everywhere for a solution and finally found the answer below:
Go to the Apple menu, System Preferences, General and you can select Scroll bar options. I selected "Always”. The scroll bars immediately returned to iTunes and they make looking for albums much easier.
Please note that changing this option also applies to other applications.
Another helpful hint is that from iTunes, you can add album artwork by going to File, Library, Get Album Art Work.
