I use the old SME/Sure headshell on my 3009 non-improved but was impressed (years ago) with the stock head shell off a Technics 1200 deck.
I started looking at other rigid head shells in the 7-8 gram range, but got sidetracked.

Recently bought an SME3009 unimproved, but without a usable headshell.
What’s a great headshell for the 3009? I’m not necessarily a fan of the oem headshell.
