SME listening room
The most famous listening room in the world is unquestionably SME room, built by Alastair Robertson Aikman, who passed away a few months ago. It is a large dedicated room, using two pairs of heavily modified Quad ESL63 , old Krell Reference amplifiers, an Audio Research preamplifier and, surely, a SME turntable and arm. This system was featured in Hifi-Choice February 1988 and Hi-Fi News December 2001, but I am looking for information on the remaining elements of this system, such as interconnect cables (the preamplifier was put near the listening position, about 10m away from the power amplifiers) and CD player.
