Sistrum racks and the use of Herbie's tube dampers

Has anyone using the Sistrum rack technology had a good effect by using tube dampers (possibly from Herbie's) on their tube CD players, power amps, or preamps?  I think they are conflicting technologies in that the Sistrums want to drain mechanical vibrations to the floor quickly without damping them, and Herbie's tube dampers want to damp one of the excess energy that is present in the tube.
