Coogler’s movies always babe an authentic musical identity in all of them. It’s a good aspect to the films’ themes.

Sinners. Great film. And the soundtrack is great music.
If you like blues - or wonder about it, check it out. The soundtrack features Bobby Rush, Alvin Youngblood, Buddy Guy, Brittany Howard, Cedric Burnside et al. My favorite tracks are "I Lied to You" and "Pick Poor Robin Clean."
Highly recommended.
