Single ended inputs

Hello? Can someone help answer and inform me better on preamps that have single ended inputs. Just one plug on the input and not stereo. How is that supposed to work with a stereo source? I see Tortuga preamps and others have single inputs.

Yeah stupid question. I should have though to view it closer but the back of this particular preamp doesn’t have red/white but upon closer examination it’s just labeled L/R Thanks wish I could delete my stupid question.
