I haven't heard either but had the (rather old now) simaudio eclipse.Simaudio was still selling the eclipse at the time and had just released the Super Nova.Before purchasing I called Simaudio regarding the Eclipse and SuperNova. Regarding sound quality Simaudio's(Costa) exact words to me were the Super Nova is about 85% of the Eclipse.Based on that I wouldn't get the Super Nova..
