Silverline Sonata-III vs. Spendor 100R

Would it be an upgrade if I sell my Sonata-III and buy Spendor 100R speakers? I use tube amplification.

The Sonatas are great speakers but sometimes they tend to be lean and bright at the same time. I assume that the Spendors would be more linear.
