Shunyata interconnect cables experience

This thread is four years old. I am only appending a footnote.

If anyone wants to try out cables, try The Cable Company. They have a Lending Library of cables, and the loan them out for 2-3 weeks. I pay 5% of the retail cost (usually around $60 for the components I borrow), and that is put towards a purchase. However, if I decide not buy the cable, the money I paid sits there until I find something I want to buy from them. And it gives people a decent period of time so they don't rush thru their auditioning.

I won't repeat your post. I'll just say that I have a Primaluna Evo 400 pre and use Shunyata Sigma V2 xlr to my Classe amplifier.  I have had the same wonderful experience you say you've had with the USB cable.

I tried an Alpha v2 xlr between my Esoteric K-05XD and Diablo 300 but preferred my old Synergistic Accelerators. The Alpha xlr’s were a bit boring and uninvolving with my Magnepans.

@swede58 How long did you have the Alpha V2 for audition? I've had  the Alpha X interconnects for a few days. They sound good, but I’m going on the assumption that, like all Shunyata (and Nordost and Transparent) cables, they still need time to burn in to sound 'great.' 

@gbmcleod They were loaner cables from my dealer so I assumed they were fully broken in. Perhaps I was wrong
