Shunyata Hydra 2 vs. Hydra 8

I'm looking to get a Hydra only to plug an amp into. It looks like the Hydra 8 has more "stuff," like their special beads. Has anyone compared the 2 to the 8 to find out if the 8 results in better sound?

There are a lot of comparison over there. I am using the hydra 2. I find that its offered a more dynamic sound. I am not sure about hydra 8. Regards.
