Shunyata Copperhead with Yamaha receiver

I have recently purchased Shunyata Copperhead power cable for Yamaha V1800 receiver. Today I received the cord and found that it won't fit into Yamaha end. Yamaha IEC is smallar than that of Copperhead. What are my options?. Is it possible to change IEC end?. If so, what should I buy?.
