Unfortunately, I would say this is typical of the IECs on the Shunyata cables I've seen. On my MX-Rs, my Airsines with Oyaide 004s have a solid lock but the Anacondas can be moved around with ease.
Shunyata Cable tightness on Hydra 8
I just purchased a Hydra 8 and a 20 amp Python helix alpha cord from a local dealer.
I question whether there is a possible problem with the Cord or the 20 amp inlet in the back of the Hydra.
The cord does not have what i would call a tight fit.
There is about a quarter inch of movement up and down.
From left to right there is a good half inch of movement.
Is this normal?
