Disconnect speakers. Disconnect inputs. Set Volume to min. Replace fuse again - it is likely slow blowing fuse - check manual or inspect original blown fuses. Turn it ON. If it still blows the fuse than most likely output transistor (Mosfet) is damaged. I'm not sure about 5350 but 5350SE had great reviews. How old is it?
Short circuit Creek integrated tech question?
I shorted out one of the speaker cable of my Creek 5350 integrated amp and it stop working. I opened it up and replaced two blown fuse with the same rating. Plug it in and press the power button but then the fuse blown again. I don't see or smell any burned component. Any idea what else I should check? Where should I take it for service and is it still worth it having it fixed?
