Sheffield XLO set-up/test cd ?
Guys,
I have had this CD for over 10 years and was wondering if it's still the norm for setup? Based on the out of phase test, they recommend moving the spkr that appears to have more sound back in increments. At this rate I would probably end up with that spkr 2-3" behind the other. I also tried doing a balance test with my craftman multimeter but found it impossible to get a reading because the reading never stopped or peaked off, maybe I need a more basic meter.
I'd loved to hear who things are done now and if you could give any tips to help in this area. Normally, I measure the distance from the rear wall and place each spkr as perfect as I can get but I found this lost CD and thought this must be more accurate.
