Setting the M Levinson Red Rose correct

It is a shame that this SH guy writes such negative things about ML. The Levinson name has stood the test of time. There simply were no lawsuits about intellectual property rights lawsuits over Red Rose Music rebranding made in China (Cambridge Audio is made in China) or any of those other disingenuous remarks SH says. ML is a man with no more faults than each of us but he has left a legacy of a lot of his designs bearing his name that have stood the test of time. Does SH think Paul McGowen engineers his own stuff at PS Audio? Does he think Vanderstein made his own crossovers? There are electronic engineers for that just as there are sales and marketing departments. SH stuff is rubbish. It does nothing other than try to tarnish ML’s products because who really cares about the real life behind the equipment.
Red Rose Music was not a failure on the part of anyone involved in the design or manufacturing. Those tube based products have excellent soundstage and timber, though under powered for big speakers.

Setting the record straight. This is direct from the horse’s mouth so there is no room for rebuttal on these facts:

Audio Prism, Vince Tiscareno, was the owner and designer of an amplifier and maybe other components (not sure). Levinson bought the rights of Audio Prism for this amplifier. Vince Tiscareno, as part owner ot full owner of AP but just selling the marketing rights to the amp. I am not clear on their partner agreement. VT continued to manufacture the amps in either account, which was at the same Chinese factory under AP.

Thus, under contact, the amplifier became re-branded rounding off the now complete Red Rose Music product line ML sought. ML owned the product rights. Levinson incorporated hardware he needed to complete his new line, RRM The look was stylish already. There were (Chinese) reliability issues with the Audio Prism choice of tubes. Levinson demanded higher quality ones than initially designed amps and seeing those failures, Levinson suggested some changes that did get incorporated into the tube stages. VT would not release the schematics to Levinson so there had to be product manufacturing rights that VT somehow retained in the deal

Red Rose Music was set to be a growing NY niche product line that was fancy looking and performed well for it’s time. Not sure if there was even a DAC inside Many good people will killed in 911. The RRM idea was It was destroyed in the bombing

The name Levinson is a brand that brand was bought At issue was if ML could ever manufacture again, his life long passion in the end, Levinson was a marketable name that provided value when the name was sold it was decided that if M Levinson used his name then that would be in competition to the exclusive rights purchased for “Levinson”

In Venice, IT now, headquarters to Daniel Hertz, Levinson has put together all that he has learned into their Maria product line He is a passionate creator  He has given us so many great products over decades

It is not my intention to create an info-mercial for ML I just think that the real truth should be put out there on the forum then you, the reader, gets to decide

Mr. Tiscareno’s new company is VZRAudio. He makes a very cutting-edge ear bud

There was nothing to the “YouTube money making story” as lawsuits and rebranding cheap Chinese stuff, though there were some Chinese intellectual property stealing issues. All products Americans design then outsource manufacturing in China, yield in giving up intellectual property the name of (Home Depot) profits.
