Sequerra Reference FM Tuner vs …. Accuphase T-1000, MD 108T, etc

I love great tuners and have enjoyed a bunch (30+) over the years but have always wondered about owning the Sequerra FM Reference. Among the tuners I have owned and really liked are: Magnum Dynalab MD 108T, Accuphase T-109, Tandberg 3001A, Tag McLaren T32R.  I have almost memorized all the reviews on the fmtunerinfo website, but I would love some further thoughts from any Sequerra FM Reference owners on whether it’s worth taking the plunge.  Especially if you can give direct insight/comparison vs the top end Accuphase tuners (T-1000, T1100), MD 108T, Tag McLaren, etc.

Please only respond if you owned or have extensive experience with the Sequerra. I live in a suburb of Chicago, have a very good roof mounted antenna and access to a nice compliment of strong radio stations.

Many thanks!

O-oooo nice!  I live in a fringe area, gosh, even cell service is questionable here.  So, good FM is more or less a pipe dream.  But if you got the big bucks, I would say get one and check it out for a few days.  That is a lot of Moolah to not listen to it first and make an honest decision.

The Sequerra is definitely a statement tuner there is no question about that.  It performs best with a good directional antenna.  It is very sensitive, but is perhaps somewhat more susceptible to multipath distortion than a few others, although I could be mistaken about that, I sold mine a few years ago.  You will find it considerably more finicky than the Accuphase tuners.  In overall performance, though, IMO, it has no rival all things considered.
