Sennheiser HD650 - Cardas or Equinox cable?

I'm moving into a condo, so I'm trying cans for those late night listening sessions. If any of you have tried the Senns 650 with either the Cardas or Equinox cable, or ideally compared the two, which one do you prefer and why?

Also what amps complement the Sennheiser HD 650. I would like to keep the amp to $600-800.

Thanks for all your suggestions. After a lot of searching and reading, I chose the Equinox cable and a Singlepower MPX3 SLAM amp. The amp will take about two weeks to be built and get here. I'll post my impressions of the cans and amp after 200+ hours burn-in.
