SE Cables for Connecting a Tape Player to System

I am preparing to re-insert my Nakamichi CR-7a cassette player back into my main system. It has been sitting on the side lines since I got it back from the shop to get it turned up with new belts, idler and lubricated. Everything else checked out good, but on the shelf it went. Over the weekend, my DSD refused to connect through the network and all attempts to coax it back to life failed. Having no way to get a signal through I pressed the Nak into service the first night and was pleasantly surprised playing tapes that were recorded 25+ years ago.

Between the tech’s direction I managed to bring the DSD back to life, but after going through all this I want to keep the tape deck in the loop.

As the bulk of my system uses balanced ic’s and currently I have very few decent se ic’s. Due to components placement I need a 1.5m ic, which I currently do not have any of, so the question is:

Who out there can recommend a good performing cable especially referencing use with a tape deck. As I may look to do some recording at some point, should the equipment have another issue down the road, and I have only the Nak as a source.

Not looking to break the bank, as it will be used minimally at best. Used are not an issue, especially in this instance, probably preferred. I would be looking for 2 pair.

Associated eq:

ARC 5se

PSA DSD

Pass 260.8

I will be connecting with a pair of Kimber Timbre I found in my box of cables for the tape out from pre and believe I found a pair of Straight Wire Rhapsody to use going to the pre.
