Schiit Bifrost vs Benchmark DAC1

Hi all

I've been thinking about a reasonably priced DAC for a second system in my office. I've read quite a bit about the Schiit Bifrost, and asked about the USB input vs S/PDIF with a good soundcard on the PC Audio forum.

I'm now wondering whether a used Benchmark Dac1 might be worth the additional cost. I've seen a couple of standard DAC1s in the $5-600 range. I think the headphone amp on the DAC1 would be a useful feature and worth at least part of the difference.

Has anyone compared these two DACs?
